About Cynthia

My Story

At an early age, I found myself fascinated with the health field. Constant doctor’s appointments treating and healing my several health conditions such as anemia, and colitis; by providing a well-balanced diet and recommended activities, all led me to appreciate how the health services can be applied to help sustain life in general. This transition on my health improvement was the main key to being intrigued and researching the nutrients and functions specific foods contain for a proper lifestyle.

I conduct nutrition assessments in diabetes, pediatric nutrition, and hypertension and cancer patients. I establish individual nutrition care plans and use medical data to determine health risks and needs of patients. I love my job and I want to contribute and participate as much as I can in diseases prevention.

 

Graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors of Science in Food and Nutrition and Masters from Point Loma Nazarene University in Kinesiology-Exercise Science.
