Protein Power During Breakfast


No matter how busy you are, always eat your breakfast! Research supports that high-quality protein breakfast consumption because it gives an extra boost to enhance weight loss and control. High-quality proteins are proteins that contain all the essential amino acids, meaning that your body is not capable of creating them by itself and needs to obtain them from food sources. In general, breakfast is associated with lower body weight, weight loss. You are probably asking why? Well, breakfast increases fullness and reduces appetite, cravings and neural signals that regulate eating behaviors. There is evidence that the feeling of fullness after a high protein breakfast intake is greater than a high protein lunch or dinner. Think about it, breakfast is the meal after your longest fast (dinner). Experts speculate that the effects of breakfast are related to the activation of the satiety system which, once activated, stays elevated throughout the day.
